APM become latest sponsor of Designing Buildings
On 18 April 2022, the Association for Project Management (APM) announced it has become the latest sponsor of Designing Buildings, the construction wiki.
Designing Buildings is the free, open-access knowledge-sharing platform for the construction industry. It includes more than 14,000 articles about the planning, design, construction and operation of built assets. More than 8 million people use Designing Buildings every year, making it the most popular construction industry website in the UK.
The new sponsorship agreement with APM will expand the range of content on Designing Buildings to include the science, theory and practice of project management.
Dr Gregor Harvie, co-founder and director of Designing Buildings said: “Project management is a vital part of our industry, helping structure and control projects in the most effective way so they deliver consistent quality on time and on budget. This relationship with APM will ensure the latest techniques involved in project management are included on Designing Buildings where they can be easily accessed and better understood by the industry as a whole.”
